Thanks to the work of my husband, Robert, I have custom themes for my blog. Robert designs my themes and includes details from my paintings. I am delighted with the results and I hope you enjoy them. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see what painting is featured in the theme.

MsKitty Back at the Beach After the Hotel Room
Thank you to Katharine Cartwright for publishing my twenty minute study of the hotel room! Please visit her web and see the other wonderful 20 minute paintings!
MsKitty is glad to be back at the beach after her visit to the hotel room. We were at the hotel only over night. But, it didn’t take long for MsKitty to be lost in the clutter of coffee cups and overnight “stuff”. You can see her below…she’s there.
MsKitty at the beach with two shells is another 20 minute study; the hotel room took a little bit longer. I didn’t time it. Enjoy!

Hi Carmen, Thanks for stopping by. Watercolors and cats just go together! It was a pleasure visiting your blog.
peggy miss kitty is looking very pleased with herself!
what a great snapshot of your hotel room! love all the little objects on the table.
I hadn’t thought about it until you said something, but she does look pleased. Maybe she feels like she is the great huntress…bagging two sea shells of great size! Thank you!
Leah, That’s our espresso stuff. We’re only going to be in the room for one night, but I bring our travel espresso machine, our own espresso cups, coffee freshly ground, etc. Pretty silly! ….OK, how do you do it? I want your innner Goddess to meet my inner goddess! You’re quite the hostess and yet you visit so many of us! Amazing!
I really like your twenty minute challenge paintings! They are vibrant and colorful! (The socks look comfy too!)
Hi Dan! I’m honored you found my blog! You have the coolest avatar! I couldn’t leave out the socks; they were too much fun!

Oh, Ms Kitty is great!! So much personality – it makes me smile. Let me know if you want to post it at some point on the “Challenge.” It would be a great entry. I really like the second painting as well. Reminds me of one I did with my toes in the picture. Fun, isn’t it?? Must be nice to be at the beach … I miss summer.
Hi Linda, She does look proud of herself, doesn’t she? Must be something in my subconscious, or it’s a “cat thing”. Thanks for stopping by!
Hi Lilas, It’s a pleasure going to your blog! You seem to have an experimental and adventurous spirit. Thank you!
The study is great. Love the feet leading us into the composition.
Hi Kathy, I’m glad you enjoy MsKitty’s personality! Cats are good subjects for me because I’m able to project a bit of attitude. Toes have such nice curves! I was about ready to get carried away with the feet.
Our beach is cool and, at the moment, stormy. We rarely get temperatures in the 80s during the summer. On the other hand, it rarely gets very cold in the winter. A good storm with strong winds blew in last night. Makes for exciting times!
Hi Shayla, Thank you. I think the feet make this composition fun. It was nice of my husband to oblige and he didn’t even know it!
